Cookie and local storage policy

Pcnaid uses browser storage for security and referral tracking. We do not use third-party tracking pixels, cross-site advertising networks or aggressive marketing analytics.

How we use browser storage

Our use of cookies and local storage is limited to two functional purposes: securing form submissions and preserving the advertising source that brought you here.

Security (Cookies)

We use a single, strict same-site cookie to prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF). This cookie ensures that application form submissions originated from our site and not from a malicious third party. It contains no personal information and is essential for the site to function safely.

First-touch attribution (Local Storage)

We store a first-touch advertising attribution value in your browser's local storage (under the key pcnaid_attr_first_touch). This preserves the initial referral source so it can be included if you later decide to submit an application. This is stored locally on your device, not transmitted on every page view.

Your choices and control

Because the CSRF cookie is strictly necessary for security, the application forms will not function if you disable cookies completely. However, we do not use non-essential or third-party cookies that require opt-in consent.

You can remove the first-touch attribution value at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or site data for merchants.pcnaid.com. Clearing this data removes the saved attribution source from your browser.
