Privacy policy

Pcnaid collects information for two practical reasons: to send a merchant application onward for processor underwriting and to preserve the advertising source that first brought a visitor to the site.

Information provided in an application

A merchant application can contain sensitive business and personal information because the processor needs it to evaluate the account.

Business information

This includes business identity and contact details, tax identification information, business type, estimated processing volume and average ticket.

Ownership information

The application can request identifying and contact information about the individuals who own or control the business.

Banking and supporting information

Deposit-account details and documents requested for underwriting, such as processing statements, bank statements or account verification, may be included.

The public application flow sends this information onward to CardConnect/Fiserv for processor underwriting. Pcnaid does not decide whether an application is approved and does not use the application to set the final rate.

First-touch advertising attribution

The site stores first-touch advertising attribution in the visitor's browser using localStorage under the key pcnaid_attr_first_touch. This lets the site preserve the first recorded advertising source for attribution when the visitor later continues to an application.

This attribution item is stored in the browser rather than as part of the visible page. A visitor can remove it by clearing local storage or site data for merchants.pcnaid.com through the browser's settings. Clearing it removes that browser's saved first-touch value.

How information is used and disclosed

Application submission

Application information is used to send the requested merchant-account application to CardConnect/Fiserv and the processor-side underwriting systems involved in reviewing it.

Referral administration

Pcnaid may use application and attribution information to connect the submission with the referral and to support communication about that application.

Direct communications

If you call or email Pcnaid, we receive the information you choose to provide so the request can be recorded, triaged and routed.

Pcnaid refers applicants to North American Bancard / CardConnect CoPilot. Once information reaches a processor or its service providers, their agreements, privacy notices and retention practices apply to their handling of it.

Storage and security boundaries

Application information is transmitted securely to the processor's underwriting systems. Pcnaid does not permanently store full Social Security numbers or full bank routing numbers on its marketing or front-facing servers.

The attribution value remains in localStorage controlled by the visitor's browser until it is cleared or otherwise removed. No internet transmission or storage system can be represented as risk-free.

Your choices and questions

You may choose not to submit an application. You may clear the first-touch attribution value using your browser's site-data controls. Requests concerning information already received by a processor may need to be handled by that processor because Pcnaid does not control the processor's systems.

For a privacy question, email Support@pcnaid.com or call (682) 292-8094. The telephone support front line is an AI voice agent that records, triages and routes the request.
